Orientation Boot Camp on SHITIJ 2.0 Startup Incubation Programme at JDT Islam Arts & Science College
The Agri Business Incubator (ABI), ICAR – Indian Institute of Spices Research conducted an Orientation Boot Camp on the SHITIJ 2.0 Startup Incubation Programme, NAIF, ICAR at JDT Islam Arts & Science College, Calicut on July 22, 2026.
The programme introduced students to the opportunities available through SHITIJ 2.0 and highlighted the growing potential of innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied sectors. Participants also gained insights into emerging areas such as plant health and precision agriculture.
Dr. Maneesha S R, Senior Scientist, and Mr. Abdul Razak, Business Manager, ABI, ICAR-IISR, explained the objectives of the programme, eligibility criteria, application process and the incubation support available under SHITIJ 2.0.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, inspiring students to take their ideas forward through the incubation ecosystem supported by ICAR.
