ICAR-IISR Signs MoU with Spices Board for ASPIRE Incubation Scheme
ICAR – Indian Institute of Spices Research has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Spices Board, marking a significant step towards promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and export-oriented growth in the Indian spice sector.
As per the MoU, the Agventure Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at ICAR-IISR has been designated as an official incubation centre under the ASPIRE (Assistance to Spice Incubation Centres for Raising Entrepreneurship) scheme of the Spices Board.
The MoU was exchanged between Mr. M S Manivannan, IAS, Secretary, Spices Board, and Dr. Sajesh V K, Senior Scientist and Secretary, Agventure TBI, ICAR-IISR, in the presence of Dr. R. Dinesh, Director, ICAR-IISR, and other dignitaries at the Spices Board Headquarters, Kochi.
