Introduction  
The Crop Protection Division focuses on studying the incidence and crop losses caused by pests and pathogens, etiology and epidemiology of diseases, bioecology of pests and developing integrated management schedules against pests and pathogens of mandate spice crops. The National Repository of Phytophthora and Repository of Biocontrol Agents are also maintained in the Division.
