I. UNDER AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITIES

List of Agricultural Universities having MoU with ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode:

Eligibility

The students who have registered for their M.Sc. in any of the above Agricultural Universities and wish to do their research work at ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode may approach through concerned Universities, the HRD, ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode. HRD will facilitate allocation of major guide/advisor, based on the availability of vacancy under concerned guides.

Fee structure

There is no fees for the students registered with above Agricultural Universities and carrying out project work at ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode. However, if a student registers with AU/DU with any fellowship, the contingency grant awarded to the student may be transferred to ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode.

 

General Terms & Conditions
  • Candidates possessing the eligibility, may approach the HRD, ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode through concerned Agricultural Universities.
  • The candidates who join for M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Phil project work should abide by the rules and regulations of ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode.
  • The findings of the study would be the property of the ICAR-IISR and prior permission of the Director, ICAR-IISR is required before publication of the work in any form.
  • A copy of the thesis (hard and soft copy) should be submitted to ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode.
  • The candidates should make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging while doing their project work, if necessary.
  • The decision of Director, ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode would be final and binding in all aspects

II. UNDER NON-AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITIES

The institute will invite online applications separately from M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Phil students of Non-Agricultural Universities as and when vacancy arises. A list is given below.

Eligibility
The students who have registered for their M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Phil in any of authorized Universities are eligible to apply for their project work at ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode. Minimum eligibility is 70% marks in M.Sc./ M.Tech./M.Phil first semester.
Duration
  • Minimum: Three months
  • Maximum: Six months
Fee structure
  • Rs. 20,000 + 3,600 (18% GST) (up to 3 months)
  • Rs. 30,000 + 5,400 (18% GST) (up to 6 months)
How to Apply

Eligible candidates may submit their application online for the training programme in the prescribed format any time along with attachments of attested copies of M.Sc./M. Tech. certificate & mark sheet.
