Resources

The major resources of the Library include Books, Journals, CDs, Theses, Reprints, Annual Reports and Technical Reports. At present, the library has a total collection of 4907 Books, 2650 Bound Volumes, 254 CD ROMS, 2492 Reprints, 953 Technical Reports, 133 Theses, 185 project reports. The centre possesses CAB CDs from 1973 onwards, Biotechnology CDs from 1982 onwards and AGRIS CDs from 1975. Currently the library is subscribing to 25 foreign journals including 17 online journals and 64 Indian Journals and 48 newsletters on gratis.. Two CAB CD databases, AGRIS and Biotechnology CDs were also subscribed for a short spell. It has access to online databases such as CeRA, CAB Direct.
